SESSION, generally known as elders, are full members of Hillcrest who have been elected by the congregation for a term to oversee, along with the Minister, the spiritual interests of the congregation. Session members are annually given a portion of the total congregant list to update contact information, make sure people are safe, and see if there are needs to be met by the church.
Session oversees the use of the Sanctuary for all events, including worship, funerals, baptisms, weddings, and all other rentals. Elizabeth LeLacheur and Margie Tesselaar assumed the roles of Co-Clerks-of-Session in 2021. |
